Big Brown Trout on the Sacramento River
This morning we managed to hook some beautiful brown trout on the Sacramento River and caught many fish all day with blue sky's. During our trip we landed a 26 inch brown trout. I estimated that fish weighing around 6 pounds. Most days we will hook around 20 trout with a couple fish around the 22 inch range. Nothing more rewarding as a fishing guide than being out on the water and helping people catch fish!

Trout and Steelhead Fishing
Weather is finally here with rain and snow helping us for this spring and summer. The last few days we've been catching rainbow trout and some winter steelhead on the Sacramento River out of Redding. Drifting egg patterns and spoons have been working pretty well. Water color is clear on the upper stretch lower part of the river is blown out from Anderson, CA down.

Shasta Lake Bass Fishing
Joey with a couple of nice spotted bass that he caught on Shasta Lake. Plastic worm fishing is the ticket to catch bigger numbers, but swim baits and spinner baits on on incoming water will produce some big whoppers! Water is going up with the big rains we've had. Pray for rain we will have a full lake by spring fingers crossed.

Big Rainbows on the Sacramento River
Blue sky and cool mornings are producing some giant trout above the Redding Sundial Bridge on the Sacramento River. Are mornings are averaging 15 to 25 days with are big fish around 25 inches. Weather should be nice all week blue sky's and 60 degrees.

Sacramento River Trout and Steelhead
The steelhead trout fishing is good with some 20 inch fish being caught throughout the day. Drifting roe clusters was the hot ticket this morning on the Sacramento River. Every day the fish have been biting better as the water warms up.

Steelhead
Catching some nice hatchery steelhead trout on the Sacramento River drifting roe with light tackle. The Anderson stretch was pretty good to me over the weekend. Water is perfect color and weather is in the 60s.
